Launch of the National Institute for Health Research
Invention for Innovation (i4i) Programme

The Invention for Innovation (i4i) Programme of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is a direct response to the need to speed up the innovation process turning inventions into new products to meet the demands of a 21st century health service.
i4i builds on two existing and successful NIHR programmes New and Emerging Applications of Technology (NEAT) and Health Technology Devices (HTD) combining them and integrating them more closely into the innovation process.
